Good to know
Choose the side of Shibuya Station first. Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu (inside Mark City) and Shibuya Tokyu REI Hotel (Miyamasuzaka) are the closest to the station gates. SHIBUYA STREAM HOTEL, Hotel Mets, Granbell, Cerulean Tower and Tokyu Stay Shin-Minamiguchi cluster on the south side, about 3 to 6 minutes from the New South Exit. Shibuya Tobu Hotel, sequence MIYASHITA PARK and Dormy Inn Premium sit up Koen-dori and toward Jingumae, 3 to 10 minutes out. Tokyu Stay Shibuya is by Shinsen Station, and Tokyu Stay Shibuya Ebisu is at Ebisu Station.
For airports, the hotels' own pages give the Narita Express straight to Shibuya at 75 to 90 minutes, and limousine buses to Haneda at about 60 minutes. Excel, REI, Stream and Cerulean each describe a limousine bus (from the hotel, from Mark City or from Cerulean Tower) that needs a booking made online in advance. The hotels do not publish how loud a street is at night, so the table below describes what each base stands on, using the hotels' own wording, rather than rating noise.
Two things to know before booking. Hotel Wing International Premium Shibuya is not listed because its website says it closed on 25 December 2023. And two of the Tokyu Stay hotels are not at the crossing end of Shibuya Station: Tokyu Stay Shibuya is nearest to Shinsen Station, and Tokyu Stay Shibuya Ebisu is at Ebisu.
