Good to know

Everything here is within a few minutes of Shibuya Station. The Scramble Crossing and the Hachiko statue are outside the Hachiko exit, Shibuya Sky is on top of Shibuya Scramble Square, which sits directly above the station, and Center Gai, SHIBUYA109, Shibuya Parco and Nintendo TOKYO are on the far side of the crossing. Miyashita Park is about 3 minutes on foot, and Konno Hachimangu gives about 5.

Two places have rules to plan around. Shibuya Sky sells timed tickets in 20-minute slots, and the rooftop can close in bad weather while the 46th-floor gallery stays open. Nintendo TOKYO admits visitors with numbered tickets on weekends, holidays and other busy days. The rest need no ticket.

Closing times differ more than people expect: SHIBUYA109 and the Parco shops close at 21:00, Shibuya Sky's last entry is 21:20, and the Parco restaurants and Miyashita Park stay open until 23:00. For how Shibuya Sky compares with Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Tower, see the article linked under In depth.
