Shibuya: Where to Eat, What to Do and Where to Stay

Food · Things to do · Where to stay

Shibuya is compact. The Scramble Crossing and the Hachiko statue are outside the Hachiko exit, and Shibuya Sky is on top of Shibuya Scramble Square, which sits directly above the station. Shibuya Sky sells timed tickets in 20-minute slots.

Food comes in two kinds: small bars and counters at street level, such as Nonbei Yokocho, Shibuya Yokocho and a 24-hour Ichiran, and restaurant floors in Scramble Square, Hikarie, Tokyu Plaza, PARCO and Mark City, most of them open until 23:00. For a hotel, choose the side of Shibuya Station first: Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu and Shibuya Tokyu REI Hotel are the closest to the station gates, and several hotels cluster 3 to 6 minutes from the New South Exit.
