Good to know

The twelve places here fall into four bases. Kaminarimon and Asakusa Station is the closest to Senso-ji: Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu puts Nakamise-dori 1 minute away and Senso-ji 5 minutes away, and The Gate Hotel Kaminarimon and Hotel Gracery are both within 5 minutes of Asakusa Station's Ginza Line exit 2. The Tsukuba Express side (Richmond Premier, View Annex Rokku, Sakura Hostel) is 1 to 4 minutes from its own station. Tawaramachi has the large Asakusa View Hotel. Komagata and Kuramae, on the Toei lines, hold KOKO HOTEL, Toyoko Inn Kuramae No. 2 and Nui. Hostel.

Check which Asakusa Station you mean. The Ginza Line, Toei Asakusa Line and Tobu Skytree Line share the name, but the Tsukuba Express Asakusa Station is a separate station: Richmond Premier is 1 minute from the Tsukuba Express exit A1 and 8 minutes from the Ginza and Toei station. For Haneda, the hotels describe the Keikyu Airport Line running through onto the Toei Asakusa Line, about 45 minutes to Asakusa Station by KOKO HOTEL's count. For Narita, Asakusa View Hotel lists the Skyliner to Nippori and the Ginza Line from Ueno, or the Keisei Main Line and Toei Asakusa Line through Keisei-Takasago.

Dates and times to plan around: Richmond Premier Asakusa is closed entirely from 1 October to 7 November 2026 (planned). Shigetsu's 6th-floor bath is planned to close from mid-January to early February 2027. Check-in starts between 14:00 and 15:00 and check-out is between 10:00 and 12:00 at the hotels that state them. Rates are not listed here because they move daily.
