Good to know
Pick the side of Shinjuku Station first. The West Shinjuku towers (Keio Plaza, Hilton Tokyo, Park Hyatt, Shinjuku Washington) sit around the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. The south side (JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom, Hotel Sunroute Plaza) is about 3 minutes from the South Exit and the Busta Shinjuku bus terminal. Kabukicho and the east side (Gracery, Shinjuku Prince, Hotel Groove, Granbell) are near the entertainment district. Tokyu Stay Shinjuku is by Shinjuku-sanchome Station, and APA is by Nishi-Shinjuku-gochome Station on the Toei Oedo Line.
From Narita, the hotels' own pages give the Narita Express to Shinjuku Station at about 80 minutes, so the South Exit hotels are the shortest walk after it. Keio Plaza runs its own limousine buses to Narita and Haneda; Hilton Tokyo runs a free shuttle to Shinjuku Station and sells limousine bus rides to both airports. Hotels do not publish how loud a street is at night, so the table below describes what surrounds each base instead.
Two things to know before booking. Hotel Century Southern Tower, a South Exit tower, has stopped taking guests since 1 October 2026 for renovation and is not listed. And three hotels here have Shibuya-ku addresses (the two south-side hotels and APA) even though they sit beside Shinjuku Station or Nishi-Shinjuku-gochome Station. For the whole city, see the Tokyo-wide guide under In depth.
