Shinagawa is a Tokaido Shinkansen station, and the Keikyu line from here reaches Haneda Airport Terminal 3 in 11 minutes and Terminal 1·2 in 14 at the fastest. The Takanawa exit serves the Shinkansen, JR and Keikyu lines, and Shinagawa Prince Hotel, Keikyu EX Hotel Takanawa and Toyoko Inn Takanawa-guchi are 2–3 minutes from it.
The three other Prince hotels (Sakura Tower, Grand Prince Takanawa and Grand Prince Shin Takanawa) share one site on the hill behind, 200–400 m uphill from the station, and Narita limousine buses run to them via Shinagawa Prince Hotel in about 85–110 minutes. On the Konan side, The Strings is a 1-minute walk from the station.
Further out, Keikyu EX Inn at Shin-Bamba is beside the station exit on the old Tokaido, but only local trains stop there.
