Umeda: Where to Eat, What to Do and Where to Stay

Food · Things to do · Where to stay

Most of Umeda is within a short walk of JR Osaka Station. The HEP FIVE Ferris wheel is about 4 minutes from the station's Midosuji exit and the Umeda Sky Building about 7; Kiji and Shin-Umeda Shokudogai are about 3 minutes from the same exit.

The department-store food floors (Hankyu, Hanshin, Daimaru) run 10:00 to 20:00, while the restaurant floors above them run later, to 22:00 or 23:00. One naming point: the JR station is Osaka, and the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line station is Umeda.
