Namba and Dotonbori: Where to Eat, What to Do and Where to Stay

Food · Things to do · Where to stay

Most of Namba's food is within ten minutes on foot of Namba Station: Imai, Mizuno, Wanaka and Botejyu are 5 to 8 minutes away, and the 551 Horai main shop is 1 minute from exit 11. Kuromon Market is a separate walk from Nippombashi Station.

Namba is compact: Dotonbori is right outside Namba Station, and Shinsaibashi-suji is 1 minute from Shinsaibashi Station. For a hotel, Namba works as four bases within a few minutes of each other: the Namba Station complex, the Dotonbori and Sennichimae streets, Shinsaibashi one stop north on the Midosuji Line, and Nippombashi to the south-east. Nankai's Limited Express Rapi:t runs from Kansai Airport to Namba in as little as 34 minutes.
