Good to know

Most of this list sits within ten minutes on foot of Namba Station. Imai, Mizuno, Wanaka and Botejyu are 5 to 8 minutes away, Jiyuken is 2 minutes from exit 11, and the 551 Horai main shop is 1 minute from the same exit. The three Dotonbori shops whose own pages give only an address (Kukuru, Daruma and Kani Doraku) are on Dotonbori too. Kuromon Market is a separate walk from Nippombashi Station, and Kogaryu is out in Amerikamura, on the Shinsaibashi side.

Late evening is easier than it looks: Botejyu serves until 24:00 (last order), Daruma and Kani Doraku take last orders at 22:00 and 21:00, and Mizuno closes at 22:00. Mornings start at Wanaka on weekends (9:30) and in Kuromon, where most shops listed by the market open between 8:00 and 10:00. Jiyuken closes at 20:00, and Kukuru's eat-in seats close at 20:30, earlier than its takeaway window.

Closed days to check before you walk over: the 551 Horai main shop is shut on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays (20 October, 10 and 17 November and 31 December in 2026), Imai on Wednesdays and the fourth Tuesday (27 October, 24 November), and Jiyuken on Mondays.
