Arima Onsen: What to Do and Where to Stay

Food · Things to do · Where to stay

Arima Onsen is about 30 minutes from Shin-Kobe or Sannomiya by subway and the Kobe Electric Railway. Its two public baths are Kin no Yu, for the brown kinsen (adults ¥800, ¥650 on weekdays), and Gin no Yu, for the colourless ginsen (¥700, ¥550 on weekdays); a ticket for both is ¥1,200. They close on different Tuesdays.

The inns on the station side are 3 to 10 minutes on foot from Arima Onsen Station. The hillside inns, including Arima Grand Hotel and Taketoritei Maruyama, run free pick-ups from the station.
