Fushimi: Things to Do

Food · Things to do · Where to stay

Fushimi has two halves. Fushimi Inari Taisha and the Mt. Inari path are free and have no closing gate, two stops from Kyoto Station on the JR Nara Line. The sake district around Chushojima, Fushimi-Momoyama and Momoyamagoryo-mae stations holds the Gekkeikan and Kizakura museums, the canal boat, Teradaya and Gokonomiya Shrine.

Most of the sake district closes between 16:00 and 17:00 (boats leave until 16:20). Daigo-ji is in Fushimi Ward too, but east of everything else, on the Tozai subway line.
