Naha: Where to Eat, What to Do and Where to Stay

Food · Things to do · Where to stay

Naha's sights come in three parts. Kokusai-dori, Makishi Public Market and the Tsuboya pottery street sit within about 10 minutes on foot of Makishi Station, 16 minutes by Yui Rail from the airport. Shuri Castle Park and Tamaudun are on the hill at Shuri Station, 27 minutes from the airport.

Food falls into four groups: Makishi Public Market and Kokusai-dori, the Okinawa soba shops in Shuri, diners and steak and burger places in other districts, and Sakaemachi Market, the evening drinking area at Asato Station. For a hotel, the Yui Rail station decides the base: Kencho-mae, Miebashi and Makishi are the stations for Kokusai-dori, 13, 14 and 16 minutes from Naha Airport.
