Food · Things to do · Where to stay

The Oita pages start with Beppu. Its sights centre on Kannawa, about 20 minutes by bus from JR Beppu Station, where five of the seven hells share one common ticket (adults ¥2,400, valid two days).

Takegawara Onsen and its sand bath are about 10 minutes on foot from the station.
