Kurashiki: What to Do and Where to Stay

Food · Things to do · Where to stay

Kurashiki is on the JR San'yo Main Line, about 20 minutes from Okayama, and the Bikan Historical Quarter is about 15 minutes on foot from the station. The river boat, the Ohara Museum of Art, Ivy Square and Achi Shrine are all in or beside the quarter; Kojima Jeans Street and Mt. Washuzan are on the coast, reached from JR Kojima Station.

The pages below split the trip into what to do and where to sleep: in the Bikan quarter, at the south exit of Kurashiki Station, or on the Kojima coast above the Seto Ohashi Bridge.
